My Beloved

It's Valentines Day as I sit and write this post.

I'm not a big celebrator of the day. But I do spend a bit of time reflecting on the love I share with those in my circle.

Today I pulled this card from my card deck. Yep, it's about love.

Did you know that the love you shared with your beloved doesn't end just because that person died? It continues on. Sure it changes, but if you are honest with yourself, you can detect it. You smile at a memory. You may even shed a tear. Maybe you get angry because you are now one of a what was once a couple. Those things that you "enjoy" together are now "enjoyed"; past tense.

The love, however, hasn't died.

Can you take some time today and think about five things that you love about "US"? I invite you to sit quietly and remember. Sit with your love. What do you love about the two of you?

Remember, if you shed tears and weep, you will find that you are weeping for that which was your delight; your love.
